Middle School Sports Day

Dear Grade 6 & 7 Parents,

We would like to invite you to the Grade 6 & 7 Sports Morning on Monday 15th January 08.10-09.30. Parents enter and exit via middle school gate.

Girls’ Activities – Middle school playground and Big Gym. Big Gym is girls and ladies only zone. The morning will end the Mother’s Event in the Big Gym.

Boys’ Activities – Will take place on basketball and football courts ending with everyone on the football pitch for a Father’s event (football shoot-out).

Please come along and support your children. After the sports event the children will have a normal morning in school.

Could I ask parents to leave their children as usual and then walk on the path on the outside of the buildings to the pitches? We will set up a seating area in the shaded terrace of Middle School until we are ready to start. A reminder that parents may photograph their own children only, for safeguarding reasons. Do not photograph staff or other adults without their permission. These are the E safety protocols of the school. Thank you for your co-operation. The Grade 6 and 7 team look forward to seeing you on Monday.

If you have any questions on this kindly ask Ms Nicola Kelly Primary /Middle School Headteacher or Ms Hanan in the school office.

Regards,

Flu SMS

Dear Parents,

I hope you are well. In school we have a number of seasonal influenza cases amongst both staff and students. We are adopting a strategy of increased sanitisation of  all facilities and careful monitoring of the FPA community. Children with influenza symptoms should not be sent to school, that includes coughing, sneezing, nasal congestion, fever, headaches or combinations of the above. I would be very grateful if this can be followed. The nurses will be monitoring the students to ensure that during the school day their wellness is cared for and you are informed promptly of any illness.

Please call the school if you have any questions.

Best wishes,

Ms Jan Brettingham
