Dear Parents,

May we offer our congratulations on the Occasion of Eid Al Adha next week. Kindly note that the last day of term will be Friday 23^rd June at 11.50, due to the Eid holiday. Students continue to have examinations on the 23^rd June therefore we expect them to attend school but not on Monday 26^th June.

We have been instructed by the Ministry of Education that we are unable to issue reports until the mark sheets have been approved by them, however, the school will send them electronically as soon as that has been obtained.

Dear Parents Grades 7-10,

I hope you are well.

We are now entering the final examination period for the year and wish to share information with you.

Examinations start on Thursday 8^th June. All students have an examination timetable issued on seesaw. Attendance is compulsory and absence for medical reasons requires a medical certificate. Students who have had medical absence will be given an examination paper with a different content on return to school. Any absence due to family emergency needs to be given directly to Ms Hanan on admin@fpa.sch.ae please.

The National Agenda examinations required by the government will also take place during this period. These allow standardisation of student performance across the United Arab Emirates.

Students should come in school uniform not P.E. kit and have all the correct equipment which their subject teacher and mentor will have discussed with them. No smart watches of appliances are allowed in the examination. The equipment needs to be in a transparent pencil case or plastic bag.

For Grades 7-10 school finishes at 13.30 Monday- Thursday and 12.00 Friday, however if family transport arrangements require or parents wish, supervised revision will be given from 13.30-15.00 Monday-Thursday. Kindly ensure that this is noted in the homework planner with parent signature so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Dear Parents,

We are inviting parents and adult family members to a short Spring Concert on: Wednesday 7^th June in our new performing arts area, upstairs in the library. We have performances from soloists on the violin and piano from Senior Section students. The FPA Arabic Ensemble, FPA English Ensemble and FPA Band. The performance is about 35 minutes and under the direction of Mr John Sellars our Head of Performing Arts. Please come and support our talented musicians of the future.

This will start at  08.30 am and entry is through administration front  gate so please park in the senior carpark. If early you will be welcomed by one of our student/teacher hosts and shown to the seating area.

There is also an Art exhibition to view on leaving on the way to the gate please drop in and view the students’ work.

Dear Parents,

May we inform you that starting Thursday 8th June our testing and examination period will start across the school. School finishing times Monday to Thursday will be 13.30 for G1-10 and Friday 11.50. If due to transport issues or work commitments, you wish your child to remain in school until the normal time of 14.00 in Kindergarten and 15.00 G1- G10 then please inform your child’s teacher through the home school book and in seniors sign in the homework planner. We will hold supervised sessions 13.30-15.00 if you wish your child to remain in school.
